Digital Polished is a series of semi-functional tools mounted onto the fingernail; from a flail, to a fidget spinner (digit spinner), to a lightsaber.

This project originated from the anecdotal observation that more feminine women are seen as less technical than their peers. I used nail polish and nail art, an aspect of adornment that is seen as exclusively feminine, to playfully highlight this implicit bias.
